Moving Forward

(April 10, 2023) In the spring of 2023, the five of us visited Manhattan over Easter weekend to prayerfully discern if this was the time to move to the city. Little did we know, God wanted us to spend a few years back in the Pacific Northwest, cultivating deeper friendships and growing as a family.

Hello friends and family,

We’re excited to share that we have a moving date! Back in early February, we mentioned that our relocation had been delayed due to health issues that needed attention before making such a big move. Since then, we’ve received the necessary medical care and are now confident that we’re ready to take this next step. We’ll be packing up this month and leaving Seattle on April 30th. From there, we’ll head to Southern California for our oldest daughter’s college graduation. (Congrats, kiddo! We’re so, so proud of you!) We’ll also spend some time reconnecting with old friends and extended family in California, Arizona, and Colorado before flying to New York on May 13th.

Although the path to this moment hasn’t been a straight line, we trust that God has been teaching and equipping us every step of the way throughout this journey. We are incredibly grateful for your continued prayers, encouragement, and financial support during this season. Once we’re settled in the city, we’ll share more updates.

In the meantime, please be praying that God would continue to equip our family to seek the well-being of New York for His glory!
